Nope, you aren't. It uses the same engine. The textures have gotten a upgrade, though.

The best part is that it still looks FANTASTIC.

It looks better if you ask me. Everything looks much bigger and you see much more on the screen at once. The characters look better too. It's a decent upgrade, like how it went from VI to Oath in Felghana.
