Never thought I'd contribute, and then my love of card games proved me different.
Battle Line is a little card game I poked out of Vector today. It's surprisingly high quality for being free/in Vector, so I felt like pointing it out. It plays a bit like War between the unit cards, but the goal of the game is to line over your opponent's end of the 5x5 board with one of your units. There appears, at its base, to be quite a bit of amusement in outwitting your opponent in placing better; while the units themselves only have one value for battling, some units have boosts on whether they attack or defend, so having your defensive units shield your offensive units until the proper time or position comes is a key part of basic strategies.
Being a card game, it's probably a bit wordy on the later cards, but from the opening its a fairly simple game with a nice bit of polish. I know it's not really a doujin work, but this is pretty much the only place I can think of that would be interested in a free game from a small Japanese developer, so have at. The game even has its own P2P socket system in place, so it wouldn't be impossible to play against other people here. Have a look and maybe we can figure out more of the intricacies in this game.
