As Phil said, if it is not on one of these, it probably does not exist. If you have any other site offering OST's, feel free to post here and this post will get updated.

Wrong, the first site has almost every game soundtrack, wheter it be a RPG like Kingdom Hearts, All of the Mario and Sonic Soundtracks (Some unreleased in the US), puzzle games like Tetris, Shooting Games, and even old-skool Nintendo soundtracks. So yea you might wanna actually check out the site before you assume.

It also has some Anime OST's. It has art books as well, but that doesn't really apply to this topic.

Some of the better OGS sites:

Not all OGS's are ripped, but most older ones have been. Most music is relatively easy to rip, but GB and NES are harder since the music usually loops.

Some games use a special format, some don't. If you really want a PC game's sound, and the game alt-tabs okay, then you can probably use Windows Sound Recorder to get it.
There are even some games (like Arcanum) that use MP3 format.
Are there any particular games you're looking for?

Is on Interactive Music Format (.CON) but googling it takes me to a Atari forum where they said how to extract it, but the link is dead... ANother music Im interested is Blood 2. I managed to extract Shogos music, which is the same extension, but for some odd reason, the process doesnt seem to apply to Blood 2, despite being the same game engine...
Thank for your concern.
