About Me
So a guy's driving down a long road, surrounded by forest for miles, and he runs out of gas, so he pulls over. He calls a local towing company, but they said that they didn't operate the towing trucks at night, so they couldn't come. He gets out of his car, and after walking for about 5 minutes, he comes across a temple. He tries to open the main doors, but they are locked, so he knocks to see if anyone's inside. An old, bald monk opens the door. "hey," began the man, "my car's run out of gas. Do you think I can stay here until the morning, when I can call a towing company?" "Yes you may" replies the monk at the door. "Come this way." So the monk leads the man down a few long hallways, until they get to one with an open room. Inside the room is a small bed and a lantern. "You may rest here."Says the monk, and he leaves the man there. The man goes inside and starts to lay down.
That night, he has problems going to sleep. The reason is that he hears a buzzing noise, and it's keeping him awake.
The next morning, he goes up to the monk that had helped him the other day. "Hey, I was having problems sleeping last night. There was this weird buzzing noise the whole time. What is it coming from?" "I cannot tell you." Replies the monk. "I can't tell you, because you're not a monk." The man shrugs his shoulders, calls the towing company, and he gets a ride home.
6 months later, the same man is driving down the same road, when he notices that he's almost out of gas, he pulls over into the grounds in front of the same temple he stayed at previously. He knocks on the door, and the same monk answers. "Hello." Says the monk. "Hey, it's me again." Says the man. "My car ran out of gas, and it's pretty much nighttime. Can I stay here again?" "Certainly." Replies the monk, and he leads the man to the same room he stayed in last time. The man lays down and tries to go to sleep. That night, though, he heard the same buzzing noise, so he was having problems sleeping again.
That morning, when he woke up, he told the monk about it. "There was a strange buzzing noise last night. What is that?" The monk replies "I can't tell you, because you're not a monk.." "Well, please make me a monk." Says the man. "I really want to know what it is."
"Very well." Says the monk. "You may be a monk. The first thing to do, so you can reach enlightenment, is to spend 3 months in the forest with no technology or modern conveniences." The man leaves to the nearby woods, stays there for 3 whole months, and returns fine. "I have reached enlightenment." Says the man. "I know the truths of the universe." "Very good. Now, I shall show you what the strange buzzing noise was."
So the monk leads the man down even MORE hallways, eventually coming to a room with an iron door. The monk pulls a key from his robes, and unlocks it. Inside is a room made completely of iron, and a bronze door. He unlocks the bronze door, and inside is a room made completely of bronze, with a gold door. He unlocks that door, and inside is a room made entirely of gold and a diamond door. He unlocked the diamond door, and inside was a room made completely of diamond. In the middle was what was making the buzzing sound. You wanna know what it was? Well, I can not tell you because you are not a monk.
