First of all, copying-pasting the Alibat folder in the program files will not work. You need to INSTALL THE GAME FROM THE CD OR BY USING A CD IMAGE. The ones in doujinstyle or in simulationstyle will not work (because they are just files in a folder).

1. Download Alibat v1.5 in the link within that blog. It is a .iso file. Mount the .iso file using Daemon tools. Install the game.
2. In Windows XP: Open the Control Panel. Double click on the Regional and Language Options icon to open the Regional and Language Options dialog box.
3. In the Regional Options tab, Standards and formats, on the dropdown list, select Japanese.

That's it. No patches. No cracks. No applocale or SBapplocale.

MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL EAST ASIAN OR JAPANESE FONTS. I'm guessing you already know how to do that.
Changing to a Japanese environment or Japanese locale is NOT NECESSARY.

I'm guessing that Alibat installs other files aside from your 'Program Files' folder. That should explain why just copying-pasting the folder to the Program Files won't work. For Daemon tools, just download that software. Click on the small icon on the notification area found in the lower right of your screen. Select 'Mount an image..' then choose your .iso file. Then OK. Then look for the installer in your 'My Computer'

No, I should thank YOU. I found the .iso file linked in your blog. I have the same problem as anybody else because I downloaded the game here in doujin style. What I just needed is to install the game from a CD or a CD image to eliminate errors in the game. Applocale and SBApplocale is does not solve anything, actually, at least in my case. Thanks again.

The tip I can really give is, PLEASE INSTALL ALIBAT FROM A CD, or mount a CD IMAGE [.iso file] of the game and install the game from there.

of course, on mediafire.

The exe itself doesn't work after installation.
It says "data file is broken" or whatever.
