I can't unpack files 7z files that are in parts because my computer thinks the file is a .001 file which isn't a type. Same problem with the other parts. Anyone know a good way to fix this problem?

Open 7zip (without opening a file in it) and go to the .001 file itself. You may or may not have to right-click the file and click "Combine Files".

.001 files actually exist. 7zip CAN take care of them but its kind of easier to just use HJSplit
