It's not so much I think they're going to dig through it, (no one I've shown it to has gone into a single app) I just don't want my paranoid mind worried that they'll accidentally touch the biggest button on there that also happens to line up with the bottom where your thumb is, the pictures app.

folders with a . behind their folder name are invisible to apps, so that's as safe as it gets

ex:
.fsdfgs
.looool

to get those folders visible again, you'll need a file browser app and rename them folders
(or you can open the contents of the folder using the app)
