.. The gateway LCD model is LP2417 and brought this from Best buy in 2008 for $450. I recall having to return multiple models just to get one without a scratched screen. And then having to purchase separate speaker accessory just to play sound for my console. bastards!

Stella Vanity; is there any reason to not have auto-homings on at all times?

Also, exit the game every so often. I gained some levels and bought a bunch of items and then it crashed on me and undid all my efforts. Either it doesn't save progress until you exit the game, or I'm missing something that makes me lose items and levels.

I take it you're using S-Type equipment? If so, then yes, there are reasons to not have Auto-Assault on if you are concerned at all with score:

1) When you have Delayed Shift active. Getting the most out of Delayed Shift means letting the enemies flood the screen with bullets before killing them. Having Auto-Assault on will kill them before they are able to do that.

2) When trying to set a high Multiplier from Overkill. This entails picking a medium or (preferably) large enemy and manually releasing your Assault lasers on it when it's near death. This will freeze it for a few frames after it has no health allowing you to pump more damage into it with your Shot/Laser/Blade.

Yeah it does. You might want to try seeing if you can recover your progress by renaming system.dat.back to system.dat (back up the old one). I don't know if that will help.

Wooh! Stella Vanity is absolutely incredible- I'm just beginning to grasp the scoring but there's so many questions!
How does Overkill work- how is it generated and what effect does it have?
What items are necessary to fill the ES and DS gauges?
How do the other gauges work?
What happens when I cancel ES?
What determines which gems are collected- red,green, silver etc?
Someone needs to knock together an English guide even if it's just a starting point...
...and what do the extra equipment items do (Wings Of Angel etc) when you equip your player with them?

either don't use the installer and instead overwrite your 1.10 OMK with the contents of the cross' folder (inside program files) or reinstall OMK vanilla (every step must be done in japanese locale settings) update to 1.10 and then reapply with installer. All else fails download the preinstalled and patched version on page 1

edit: be leery of the 2dj links. got the one for the Aquastyle Roguelike game 不思議の幻想郷2 みらくる☆パーティー , maybe coincidental but malwarebytes started blocking a ton of intrusions after installation.

so does MBAACC need to have pixel shader 3.0?
i got the game working on my desktop
my broke friend on the other hand is using a laptop that I gave him a while back. it was able to run MB act cadenza with no issues...
but no luck with MBAACC, any solution? anyway to bypass the 3.0 shader check or something?
I honestly don't notice much graphics difference (other than heat mode making a cool wave effect and smoke)

If I understand correctly, the OST, by Sound Sepher, was also released at C81, so it should pop up sooner or later- Sound Sepher's other album just appeared so it's a matter of time. Of course that's assuming it does get upped at all, but hey, think positive.

EDIT: Might have misread their page for it a bit, looks like it's set to release on the 13th. So there you go.
