Atlus: Shin Megami Tensei: Gensokyo
Lego: Touhou Lego
Blizzard: Touhou Craft
Etc Etc

Only company that I see doing this successfully is Nippon Ichi Software IMO. Otherwise, I'd think it'd be a mess.

How about a collaboration between Tasofro and Team Shanghai Alice? :P

Otherwise, I wouldn't mind an official crossover with Valve for Team Fortress 2, since Valve is usually more fair with copyright and marketing strategy in general. But nothing major. Just Suwako's Hat or something.

NO.

It's not Touhou if it's not a doujin title made by ZUN.

Besides, I don't want Activision putting multiple developers on the project at once so they can churn out a soulless new game every couple of months.

I also don't want EA setting such ridiculous deadlines for their studios they're forced to release obviously unfinished games filled with bugs.

Big game companies are bad news.

I agree with the idea of them making games like those, but the originals stay with ZUN IMO
Because the ideas are great, don't get me wrong, but ZUN makes the originals better.
If ZUN were to give the original rights of the touhou games, i think the games would be ruined.
Otherwise, i fully support this.

It doesn't matter who makes it, the important part is if they can make a game that at least satisfies fans
(it doesn't have to be good)
As long as they actually "like" Touhou, they are actual fans of it, and know what the fans want - they'll be able to come up with just that.

Otherwise it'd be very likely that it'll just be some random generic game that doesn't even play well but has the Touhou tag on it, at that point i'd rather settle for Touhou modifications of existing games
ex: Touhou skins in Sims, Sims 2, Sims 3

i completely agree with this statement. the creation of Touhou games, and it's derivative works, should really be left to the realm of Zun, it's Fan base, and the doujin community as a whole (in comparison to major gaming companies who seem to care more about making profits than quality goods).

It's not Disgaea per se, it's more of a random Touhou SRPG and there's too much of those out there.

I might be asking for too much but I'm really hoping for systems like lifting and magichanging and *babbles away*
