I don't want to live in a world in which property damage is equivalent to physical abuse. Part of the internet contract is admitting to the possibility of having whatever personal information you put on it compromised. Part of owning property is admitting to the probability of natural disaster or vandalism. But the contract of being a daughter should never include the possibility of being physically abused by your own father. There is a clear disconnect to me between the actions of anonymous and the actions of this judge, and quite frankly it worries me that you're trying to equate the two. I'm not saying I agree with what anonymous does, but it is NOT equatable to the atrocities to which you keep trying to equate it.

I'm not equating the actions more so than the intentions.

Actually, I'm not even equating anything about the two at all.

I'm saying that both groups are wrong. Perhaps not equally wrong, but wrong nonetheless. We're at a point where we shouldn't be satisfied with compromising for "the lesser of two evils." That's the number one reason I have not and most likely will never support Anonymous.

My dad got a haircut today. I told him not to! Now it's even harder to tie a bow in his hair! He said he asked the person giving the haircut to just cut his hair a little, but she ended up cutting it much more than he wanted her to. Ugh, women can't do anything right. They really should stay in the kitchen.

That feel when the first thing you notice are the badass posters and you realize that would probably get along with this person.

Also, rumors say she was downloading Clannad.

Geez, some people are saying "Maybe she did something to deserve it, maybe she was a bad girl who didn't listen to her parents." They're totally missing the point of the story though.

As if not listening to parents is an excuse for any fully grown man to beat his own kid, let alone his DAUGHTER. Some people are so fucked up.

Not to spark a flame war or anything but, there's a difference between corporal punishment and "beating you into submission".

My parents used that line on me so many times when they were beating me, especially one time when dad was using his belt on me because I didn't feel comfortable attending church. I was like 19 then.

Now I kinda wonder what would've happened if I had recorded the stuff they did and uploaded it to youtube.

Am I the only one who thinks it's utterly wrong for Anonymous to get involved? It sounds like they're going to make a simple problem a whole lot worse.

I'll admit that I think he should fired from judge, but harassing him is just wrong no matter how I look at it. What the hell do they know how her family works, from just one video?

Mostly down south, actually. It's about the same with most people down here when it comes to temper and technology. There's a reason I mention shotgun when it comes to most people wanting to use it on a comp when they come in because...well, you see this here. Not everyone is like this, at least in Arkansas, but there's a select few that I wouldn't let people near. But they aren't just south of the Mason-Dixon either.

One thing that my father got right...actually two things...when it came to the belt is he never had to swear off and say stupid, hurtful things when it came down to it and if my sister ever needed it, he would take it exceptionally easy on her. He never liked doing it and most of it was my mother encouraging it because she didn't want to be the one to look bad when it came down to it. You can tell the difference between when they're doing it for discipline (after the fact, at least) and when they're doing it because they're governed by hate and fear (which this guy clearly was).

But getting double-teamed by both of your parents like that? Shit.

And to be honest, I don't think this should be used to fire someone from a job. Their business life and their private life are two completely different things. Do I think this should make an impact on his election chances, though? Oh most certainly. It's character reference to someone's 'shotgun' method of thinking, which a judge shouldn't have.

This clearly went beyond just punishment.
After the mum gave her a whack on the ass, the dad went back in for more and said something like" I didn't get my lick yet"
He was enjoying it too much in my opinion.

That's why I was reticent in posting it, but all of me and my siblings did get the belt when we were young, but never so much so that it would make us resent the way we were brought up or our parents for doing it. When it came down to it, we got our lashing because we did something that deserved it, I'm not speaking for all those here, and I do know, from snippets of conversion here and there on this forum, that there are those who have less than stellar parenting.

I wish my situation was like that. Half of my parents "discipline" consisted of verbal abuse. Eh, but this ain't about me so whatever.

As for Anonymous, as much as I love their robin hood sense of vigilante justice, I think it would be better to see if anything legal will actually be done about this man before they actually act upon whatever they plan to do. Just my two cents.

Completely uncalled for. Completely stupid and really do hope that judge gets every little ounce of what he deserves.

If there is one thing I absolutely despise beyond belief, it's parents beating their own children. It's not needed. Children can learn just from having a calm and adult conversation. Not from being beaten until they are scared of their own parents. I've had this kind of treatment my entire life and I cannot tolerate anyone else getting it. It may of happened in the past but pushing your anger on your child because they've done something wrong makes you more in the wrong than the child.

If someone happens if should be dealt with in a adult manner. That is in no shape or form a adult discussion. That is violence and torture. A real parent would calmly sit down and talk to their child about the problem in a calm manner. If the child gets mad, calm them down and continue. Beating them installs fear, not answers.

This is just disgusting.

Yea mate, instead of "Daughter, you must not download illegal things like this, I cannot tolerate such acts." the faggot assed Judge started beating her with a belt, and psychologically turned her wife to start to scolding her too. And he didn't even tell her what was her mistake, and using "fuck" to your own child? Are you not human?

This guy is not being discipline, he's just having some stress at work and then let off some steam by beating the shit out of his own daughter.

As I've mentioned many times before, I think it's completely wrong for Anonymous to get involved.

In fact, I have not supported or plan to support any exploit that Anonymous has claimed to be "for the greater good."

That's basically how I feel about it. It shouldn't have to take an anonymous group of internet vigilantes to fire the judge and take his daughter into protective custody or something.

So I made a tumblr dream log for a friend of mine, but then I realized that all I dream about is nerdy stuff. BUT THAT'S NORMAL FOR DOUJINSTYLE SO YOU SHOULD HAVE A READ

AFAIK, she's now in her twenties and no longer lives with her father, hence why she released it anyway.

Well, they're related to the original topic, since they plan on doing something to the Judge. Not totally irrelevant to the OP imo.
