Tendou Blade was their second game. (Or, at least that is what people call it) And the other game was like Diseaga(Sp?) Now this one seems like a normal RPG. The only catch is that there is a TON of characters. Because I am not familiar with Kanji, for now, I really can't say what is what. However I can say what I do know about this game.
In the Beginning you can choose five people for your group of six; Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Sakuya, Reisen, Ex Keine and/or Nitori. Now, I am not sure for the others, but because I didn't pick Reisen, I fought her later on. Would this change? More likely. Your main Character, who so far has NO powers, she is basically support and "Check the stats" of the enemy, is Akyuu. I guess it is understandable. She is the only way to leave a fight and use items without assigning them.
Dungeons are a bit more of a pain. In the other ones you could just run and explore. Well exploring on here has been taken to a different level. Each floor is a randomly generated dungeon where you must find the exit.
To change characters you must go to the desk then pick the ones you want. Unlike Tendou Blade, all of the characters you get are stored there.
Lastly, till someone tells me the right now and feel me in more on it, there is HP and LP. HP Health points. These regenerate. LP? I think Life points. These do not regenerate until you heal it or go back the Akyuu's room. So be careful. I know AP(1-3) is used for attacking, but don't know what they are called.

I somewhat played a bit of this game at the beginning. Monsters are OP. Well that's my thought on it. Akyuu can revive fallen members. It's a shame everyone starts at level 1 while some monsters have 300 or more. Eh. I'll figure this one out....in a long.... while...I'm interested in the upgrade they did to the battle system. Also...team attacks?

Team attacks... I still have yet to figure out how that works. Some times you attack at the same time but that's all it seems... for now.

Oh yeah, am I missing something or does Nitori have NO ability to attack? Also, apparently one of the 'sake' items returns you up to the surface, but I had no idea Akyu was the only way to use items without assigning items OR even leaving the fight. Also, there's two upgrade screens, one where you use BP from EXP leveling to upgrade the character's stats, and another where you use O. point from leveling up O. level to get new abilities (Huh?). I suspect the AP 1-3 are required for some of these, but right now I'm messing around. And yeah, Mushroom Forest is the only way to level in the beginning, it seems. Also yeah, LP doesn't regenerate at all unless you heal it or go back to the house.
However, the BP upgrade for LP upgrades them by 100 each, but I'm not sure it's worth it in the long run, but then again I could be wrong since there are items that heal LP. This is going to be a bit hard figuring out what stats goes best with each characters, so I think I'll make a seperate save and mess around with the BP and O. Point upgrades before I figure what each ability does. Also I have no idea if O. points are gained just by fighting battles.
EDIT: Also, this game considers a character with no LP dead BUT you can use a item that heals LP to bring them back. Makes no sense, but that's apparently how it works. Also, O. points are gained via battling, and since I see abilities that require either AP 1 or 2 or 3, you can bet that there are abilities that cost one of these.

Ahh yeah, completely forgot about that part...
And I get the LP thing I guess. Well, maybe because I call them Life points. You can't have health without a life right? Lol. Also the game is pretty short. However once you beat it well... you will see. I definitely shall play it again.

The LP thing you mention sounds pretty much like how it worked in SaGa games. 0 HP could be fairly harmless of a condition because the games didn't count them as dead, anything that restored HP could get them back on their feet- it was only if all their LP hit 0 were they dead in the more typical JRPG manner. Since being reduced to 0 HP resulted LP loss on top of being able to spend it to instantly full heal, use super moves, or just loosing it by chance from eating a heavy hit- it wasn't something you could just ignore either.

Atwiki for tanqroku. Again, use google translate/other translation sites to help you somewhat. I forgot how frontier lp worked. I have a bit of grasp on how frontier was but unsure of if it's right or not
This is how this game's LP work though. It's basically when they do damage that's more than your hp, life points start to get taken away.
