They will no doubt have an expansion with Touhou 13 coming out and all... and an english unofficial patch unlike MBA (not just menu patch)

It was being made. There's a translation of Nanoha's story mode. But they gave up when Fly-System started patching new characters in with expansions and bullshit.

Normal Spell is Trigger + Shot.
EX Spell is Trigger + Guard.
Hi-Tension Spell is Trigger + Melee in Hi-Tension or Climax.
Climax Spell is Trigger + Slide in Climax.

Beautiful, its enough to be an enjoyable full version game

Quick menu/interface translation:

Any idea what the toggle modes are during battle? (Different colored text that appears on the lower left hand corner)
How do you activate/switch between Hi-tension and climax modes or are they triggered randomly/specific conditions? Oh duh its over time (meter at top middle screen shows whats coming)

Tension Bar: Instead of choosing when to use power-up aura, its based on the timed tension bar (kinda of like Weather in SWR)
Hi-Tension-Hi Tension move becomes available, execute by hitting target+melee
Climax-Climax Move becomes available, execute by hitting target+boost
Normal- as title implies
Lo-Tension- You can't enter flight mode during this time (hold boost to enter it usually to fly faster)
Pink Dots-"Boost Meter"

Anyone try the fly network lobby yet? I'm on right now but cant get a game started, get TCP,UDP,UDP,UDP and nothing happens

The bottom left is the command to your CPU teammates, I don't know what each one is though.

Tension is based on the current point in the song (which can be chosen in Free Battle and Network). You can also put your own songs in if you make a tension file; the process of doing so is detailed in the manual.

Also, the game allows split-screen multiplayer and IP connection, along with suggesting in English to not use the lobby server outside Japan.

I found the following info about the ai thing (activated by spacebar for those playing keyboard)

playing with AI; apparently it cycles between following modes:

red "attack same enemy"
purple "attack different enemy"
blue "concentrate on dodging",
green "do whatever you want".



yay I got lobby netplay working and won (barely), but I played J people (lag central) Anyone want to to try thats on west coast? Probably best just to do this via hamachi =p
I can see why they dont recommend anyone outside japan to play lobby. Also How do you save replays?

Mission mode will be implemented later. The keys Q and W (default) are to review and change Objective? Or just toggles targets

Wonder if there is a "Last Word" to the game (Is that what Climax Finale is?) As in Super Desperation moves when you're hp bar is in critical state, kinda like the supers in MBA. That would be nice.

Anyone successfully make a Custom BGM tension file? Translate/do example the instructions for making tension file. You make a tension file via notepad or something, and put to second slot, each portion must be a certain set percentage of the overall length of song. You label it with the full # of seconds of the song and break it up but I can't seem to get the game to accept it. (Time Data is Correct/Out of Range Error) There should be a tension generator with slider bars =.= ...

Replays are automatically saved, if I'm not mistaken. At least, it happen always whenever I play online with my friend or VS CPU's.

Attempting to make one myself, but to no avail it seems..
Think I'll meddle with it for awhile.
