DoujinStyle.com is looking to add a new theme to it's collection, but we want something that the community can share a part in. We are asking for our users, the DoujinStyle.com users, to start getting together for a collaboration to create a brand new theme for DoujinStyle.com. This is an opportunity for everyone to contribute their thoughts, concepts, graphics, mockups, code, and ideas on a new theme or even new themes for doujinstyle.com.

Logo should be replaced with something more simple, and not so touhou-related.
Theme in general should have some color.
I can try making a logo.

If you want to make a try at a logo, feel free to do so. Actually, we could have multiple logos and multiple themes. It's not that difficult to manage.

To be honest, I cannot answer that yet. It all depends on how we make the theme, so feel free to go how you want. We'll know more once we start planning it out.
We have the opportunity to change the layout when making a theme, there is so much we could decide to change.

We should totally talk about should the logo blend in the background or have some kind of border that you can see where it is. I need at least that much advice.
I do think that simple is the way to go, but this is too simple. It needs some edge.
Also, any color themes?

Okay, I don't think we can't go any further until we get a decent team formed. I can do GFX, Juri can do GFX. That's pretty much it right now.

Well, I can do XHTML/CSS so I can do a lot of the coloring and such, but I suck with decisions on those matters. I need help with colors, the proper hex codes that we wish to use, and making decisions on design.

I'd certainly love the channel in trying to replicate it, and don't go saying impossible. Nothings' impossible (if you don't mind relying on browser compatibility fixes!)

Alright... things that need to be considered in the original design...

I started looking through the place where they purchased that theme from. If we really need to, I could purchase one and we could start disassembling it to see what we would need to do to make our own.
We can also add it to our current choices so that people can use it too with our own header.

Alright. I will make the purchase on the 2nd of next month. It'll be a great starting point.
