The transfer has completed. Took approximately 3.5 hours (of a maximum estimated of 4)

What was done (all times in EDT):

- (05:33) Forum deactivation at old server (performed by Karusune)

- (05:31-06:50) Transferred a total of 3 backups:
1.2 GByte dumped SQL backup
1.6 GByte "Binary" SQL database backup (in the event the above backup failed to load)
2.7 GByte Site/forum software backup
Total: 5.5 GBytes.

- (07:00-07:01) Installed the 2.7 GByte backup successfully on first attempt.

- (07:08-07:25) Installed the 1.2 GByte backup successfully on first attempt.

- (07:29-07:37) DNS update at existing nameservers

- (07:39-07:43) Last checks

- (07:42) Forum reactivation at new server

So.... that means we'll be going back to a not so good server? And I liked having big avatars too... : (

Nope. This server's almost exactly the same as the emergency use server except without the ability to have dual quad-core processors. Which is ok.
