also another comment is im sick of getting trolled when i dl stuff at comicet times some how the first thing i dl every time is a troll :| this seams like a way to kill that for me it would also make it easier to find the said doujin games not spending a wile browsing the net for dead torrents and the like
Yeah... that's part of another reason why we want to offer this as a good solution to that.

Will really 1$ per member really be enough though?
If I remember so was the old download host server quite... incredible expensive?
If you don't get alot of premium members, will you not lose money?
The servers're owned by me. >_> When new servers're added, they won't be owned by me immediately, but will be shortly thereafter.
If we don't get a lot of premium members, that's fine, I will keep them up myself, one way or another.

and what if you have some problems using paypal?
example: parental problems. should be enough for my question.
and hten again there it comes again with the credit card :/ (some are afraid of giving their bank datas to the webs)
There's other solutions, too, for those who have problems using Paypal. There's Google Checkout and several other options that I'm looking into at this time.

well sadly its to the point were that's smart and u cant really blame some one for being cautious if it comes down to some thing like that you would just have to convince them this is a legit and safe "for the most part" web sight
True. However, Paypal tends to insist that you verify yourself. But while EidolonHost is indeed verified, it may not mean much to those who care about such things.

Unless it's incredibly organized, efficient, and has amazing download speed, I don't think it's worth it :X
We will be making sure it's organized and efficient, as well as having amazing speeds.

I'm not interested in higher DL speed for one dollar per month. Really.
And when there aren't any events, the download service would be dead, too?
No thanks, really, a solid idea.. but no. Not interested.
Sounds like Habbo Club all over again.
No, the download service won't be dead. It will be live, 24/7, provided there aren't network outages.

By 'high speed' what kind of limits are we talking here?
I remember how very, VERY bad SS could get when the server was under heavy load.
Are you talking about download limits or...? And are you referring to SS?
The server that DS is on, is dual xeons. At the moment, this server has just one xeon, but can be upgraded to use two xeons. The server that would be hosting the downloads is also a quad-core. Intel Quad-Core 9550, actually.
Download and DS will be kept separate so as not to cause issues between the two.
Any more questions?
