that's what i was going for but idk, i think i should have excluded the crater.

i know the moon isn't really all a solid color like that and that it has gray areas, but it just looked really bad when i tried to include that. ;;

why dont you look at one from reference and try to translate it into pixels?

dem gradients the moon needs some of them, try dithering or something? the aura around it should be consistent or at least... not so mis-matched.

i actually have no idea what dithering in, but i will consider looking that up next time i use the binary tool.

i have no idea. that was the most ridiculous part to me. i sent them an email asking, though, just in case. i want to make sure if i am legible to enter the contest or not, because i don't want my entry to go to waste. :v
