Pretty much what the title says.

So for my first piece, a description from the classical book The Red Badge of Courage. Henry, the main character, describes the idea of running away from battle like a thousand-toungued monster that kept creeping up on him. And I did this for an assignment at school. c:

Sai, right? Make sure you set your lineart to multiply, otherwise you'll get those stupid looking grey lines there.

I think this is worthy of being here as I enjoyed making it and wanted to do it.

So, I decided to do a really simplistic drawing. I really like how it turned out. :> It was initially going to be at night with her shrine in the background...but I don't know. This seemed more fitting to me.

Cute little birthday cake I drew in a minute for someone's birthday on another forum. I just may give this to people now.

I'm thinking of getting a tablet. I've been displeased with my digital art recently, so today I drew on paper and drew an epic Flandre and some random girl. I was amazed at how much better I am on paper, so now I really want a tablet. Any recommendations for good tablets for drawing?

The Wacom Bamboo Pen is what I use for basic sketches, and it's all around pretty good for people new to tablets and people who're used to them alike.

Would you say of all the Bamboo tablets, Bamboo Pen would be the best for drawing and digital art?

I'm actually not sure. I got the Pen because it was cheapest and I didn't need unnecessary touch features. I don't know anything about the Bamboo Touch and the Touch and Pen.

Mines a DELETER XP-PEN. Its functions are simple.
Juz attach it to the com, download its software, get a CG program (SAI or Photoshop?) then draw away!
Though its size is only A5. :P

So I haven't really done any digital art since the cake or Reimu above. I've just been practicing with paper and pencil because I'm thinking of getting a tablet since using pure lineart can be a bit annoying. And I must say, I like paper and pencil much better. If only I had a scanner for my own computer, I would've worked on this on Sai or something. But since I don't, here's a terrible quality picture to show you what I've been up to and how I am off the computer. c:

FFFFFFFFFFUUUU- Glare. D:

I wish I didn't get stuck with a trail version of Sai. ;~; I can't save work on it, which is another reason why I haven't been working on digital stuff.

I actually did something digital, first in awhile. I really like how it came out. c:

Ignore the 1 minute dolls. And the boots.

I find Alice a fun subject to draw.
