haven't touched dots and wc3 for a while
That doesn't mean we don't play DotS anymore though.

Cats are definitely the best, the ears, the tail and especially the paws, they are perfect!

Thanks for the insult, Lucky. I'm still the HEX that I was from the last time.
I saw the patch logs and find it a joke that the new devs are changing, and such the orginiality is no longer there. 967g is probably the last version that was good enough.
PS: I doubt your EQ for questioning my mentality. Coming from someone who've sacrificed his goddamn time to translate your very first English map, so this is what I get in return.

On a side note about how people dont like the changes of skills, skills damage havent been touched much at all, or more like most skills have had there skills over all damaged lowered. only big game change has been the items as far i can see. (Not including character changes)

Despite being optimized already. :V
DotS on Dota 2/SC 2 engine doesn't sound so bad.

I'm not involved in the balance/design side of things in the map's development (only coding), but I've read many comments from people blindly criticizing 0.977 without giving it a chance. All I can say is, nobody's stopping anyone from playing an older version. There are even groups in the HF rooms playing 0.949 and 0.900. Indeed, if you're just looking to derp around in a Touhou DotA-like map, then 0.967g is fine. But understand that the changes implemented in 0.977 weren't done without consideration and (aside from the items) were primarily meant to address the fact that many heros in 0.967g could win the game alone vs entire teams and that's why in HF tournaments, the latest map is always used, optimized or not. As DrRawr mentioned, if one actually plays 0.977 for a while, you'd realize that despite the admittedly irritating scaling formulae for many skills' damages, there's actually very little practical change. About the items, there're plenty of new ones and some old ones were removed, but you know, sticking to familiar 0.967g item builds actually still works.
Feedback about the map is of course welcome, but please also understand that fundamentally, 0.977 is more of a team game than 0.967 ever was and suggestions like "bring back Flandre's old ult" simply cannot be implemented (she does get a slight buff on it in the next version though).

A few heroes really got the sack though in 977. Like Yuuka, Tenshi. Let us see if 0.980 changes that (probably not).
