@ akurou first there is the 10 stage dungeon, then there's the 26 stage with a final battle with yukari and another boss(forgot the name) then there is also a 99 stage dungeon on the moon that you go in with nothing and another 99 stage by your shrine, there is also another dungeon in town to the far right of sanae that you can do, but you need to have the first game fully patched in order to unlock both the shrine and town dungeons. you can also unlock the underground dungeon where you fight the subterranean team that's hard. basically a lot of dungeons, and its going to take a long time before you can get to them all. btw patch all the way up to 1.10 if you haven't already.

if any wants to know i have a strategy for getting you items leveled up quick(at least to level 6), and also your level. all you need is some poison and slowing potions, you don't even have to go past the town to do it. you will need this 毒薬 and this 鈍速薬, would be best to get up to 9 of the first and 3 of the second. now this is very dangerous if you are doing this with low level items as you can get 1 hit if you mess up. play through to level 4 and find the kurodani(earth spiders) throw poisons at it until its big and then throw the slowing potions. now for every two turns you get the mob moves once so... hit once move repeat. but be careful not to get cornered or surrounded(make sure there's no enemy's on your path) if there are take a couple steps ahead of the big monster and kill any others that are around you so you wont get owned use one of these 照符「ブックオブライト」 to watch the enemies coming down corridors that will block your path.

So wait, you have to have this game fully patched? or the very first game to get the dungeons? Do You have to beat the game first to get them or can you just go to them?

well i already beat the game while ago and once again i got the same problem to patch the game when i try to patch the game from 1012 to 1013 (google translate says the patch can't locate the game while i put all those patches in fushigi directory)

make sure when it asks where the game is you have the correct directory(it should find it by default but if you moved it you will have to locate) otherwise re download the patches if they don't work try to watch the download and make sure it completes and doesn't cut off. to get certain dungeons you have to have the first game fully patched, would be wise to patch up motto too all the way to 1.10 and have beaten the 10 stage and 26 stage dungeons

Because it takes to long to translate I think. By the time they get through translating the next installment of the game has come out.

somebody mentioned somewhere i dont remember, that aquastyles was not releasing the information on how to change the characters ingame therefore no english patch will be available until its cracked or something like that, i think there was also mentioning of a translator group who had it translated but did not have the source codes to implement it. but dont take that all for fact im going off my memory thats been away from all this for a month or so

Ok I want to know something in this game. What happen when you got the storage gap with you, store some items and you die, will the items and the gaps be save with you????

You won't get anything inside back from the Storage gap (保存のスキマ) if you die.

However, All the items stuffed in the Storehouse gap (倉庫のスキマ) should be safe with Akyuu when you respawn back to the shrine.

you probably figured this out by now but equiping a Lily hat will usually insta-kill both Cirno and Letty. i would also be willing to bet (from playing the Fushigi no Gensokyo staring Cirno) that throwing water might kill Cirno/letty (i died far to often in that game from drinking water.).

Welp, the new game is out. I've been playing it since last night. They really changed the style a bit here. And I don't mean just art.

For Fushigi no Gensokyo 2, it seems to have some procedure to patch it correctly to 1.02. Following is the message.


ご迷惑おかけしております。

このバージョンは従来のパッチと違い、「守矢神社でパッチを当てないでください」

守矢神社からどこのルートでもいいので選択し「１階で中断してゲームを終了」してからパッチを当ててください。
（1.01で現状起動が不可能な人はそのままパッチを当ててみてください）

守矢神社や特定のフロアでパッチを当てると1.01のセーブが破損された状態で1.02に引き継がれ
データがロードできなくゲームが遊べなくなります。
もしその状態になってしまった場合は、同梱しているダウングレードパッチで1.01に戻してください。

お手数掛けますがよろしくお願いします。

I like the animation portion other than that the gameplay is hard to get into especically due to lack of translation patch.

You can actually rename amulets, or so it would seem, now. Use the translated text in the beginning and rename it and there you go! No more looking back! English names are there. Just press E on an item then space to change it to English letters. Then press E again to get out. W and Q move right and left. Not sure if you die will you keep the name changed, but I do know this game is easier than the last.
