so i loaded up the cleared saves of Reimu Normal and Marisa easy (EHHH EASY MODO?) then i looked at that scenario tree in the options screen and saw everything was cleared.
Then i tried starting a new game, only Marisa and Reimu are the choices :/

dunno how to unlock sakuya and i already google'd >_>

you have to clear Normal, I guess.
(though i finished Reimu on easy mode and Marisa on normal)

unlocked it just fine, but seems Sakuya only have 4 missions >_>

the final one includes Komachi.

I am having a problem with the patches I am starting with this patch "gsw01_update_102" and I got a clean ver. of STW, I tried running the patch by selecting the entire game folder or by selecting only the data folder but still didnt work, help plz.

need to patch the game in order, to skip the first five get the complete version 1.01->1.06 patch

still need to go through small increments after that though to the latest

What do we do with the 1.10 patch? we use it or go to 1.11 ?

after I did the complete version 1.01->1.06 patch I got a new save file and placed it on the savefile folder, but now the game wont run (I even patched it all the way to 1.09) but the game still freezes.

what do you mean all the way to 1.09? the latest is 1.11
each newer version has less bugs than the previous ones

as for the game freezing, if it worked before then i have no idea

The problem was that the complete version 1.01->1.06 patch was missing file 1.04.1 thats why it would'nt run, and also im missing 1.10 so im at 1.09

This site now has every patch for the game, including the latest 1.1.1
so you'll need to download every patch and just save them somewhere in case something goes wrong

Try this copy your save somewhere else.Take a clean version of gsw and patch it manually all the patches one by one it is veyr tiring (did it herself) but that wya you won't ahve problems.

This is how it came out after following toniaps advice, I patched it one by one but not just the objectives, the in-game menus are also in japanese. I think this game hates me.

You lost me. What is the problem now? Still freezing on you? I mean, it SHOULD be at version 1.1.1... and in Japanese, that's what it is supposed to be like.

Not really sure what you were expecting anymore after this post. There's no English fan patch or anything like that. I really don't intended to sound mean or like a douchebag, but I can't help but ask that.

Yeah I though it was an english patch, but its not. The only problem I have is that it randomly freezes when the battle cutscenes starts (stays in loading black screen)even after the 1.11 patch, but this is not a big deal. So thanks for all the help and sorry for any trouble or confusion I might had caused.

Could be your set just isn't up to the task of running the game, I don't know what you have. But I can tell you the game chokes every now and then when I turn the battle animations on. Not a consistent thing, but it does happen, usually on the more complicated attacks. Music plays like normal, might stutter a bit, black screen, but it eventually loads and plays after a minute or two. Tends to happen most often during Patchouli EX's spells for me though Remilia's also made it gag once or twice as well.

I'm running it on a fairly old set but it all in all works just fine. I never noticed it choke on the same animation after it played once for that session, so you might be just experiencing the same thing I get. It really shouldn't be a problem for you since really, you're going to play with the animations off most of the time anyway- you see the attacks once and then you only end up turning them on for cool moments like boss nuking. Otherwise, chapters drag on longer than they need to.

Oh great... so it is directory not password...

I must install it to the main Folder or the DATA folder ?
